Basal Cell Carcinoma
Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most common type of skin cancer. Because this is a slow-growing cancer that is often isolated to a single area, early detection and treatment leads to an extremely high rate of cure.
Common signs of BCC include:
- Open sores
- Red patches or pink lesions
- Growths with elevated, rolled edges and a central indentation
Frequently used treatments for BCC are cryotherapy, Mohs surgery, and excision. Depending on the type and location of the BCC, our Board Certified Dermatologists will help you determine the best treatment for you.
